CLINICAL SUPERVISION & Professional Supervision
Clinical supervision is the process whereby colleagues of a similar profession regularly engage in a prepared meeting for the intention of developing understanding, skills and a professional orientation, while concurrently focusing on enhancing client wellbeing. Such supervision has both a preventative and corrective function.

Professional supervision extends the clinical support to include building a sustainable practice. Professional supervision is best suited to pracitioners who work in private practice. Juggling the roles of empathic clinician and business operator can be a particularly difficult duality. Ensuring that you have the right support from a supervisor with expertise in the dynamic field of private practice is essential to minimise the risk of burn out and fatigue.
